The role with primarily focus on the development and strengthening the Operational Resilience programme. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and be highly adaptable. You will have experience in Crisis Management and the ability to build relationships with a range of different stakeholders to produce best-in-class Crisis Management documentation and processes.

Your role will require you to support the Operational Resilience Lead and the core team to anticipate, identify and respond to disruptive risks/threats that the firm may be exposed to. As an influential member of the team, you will help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members to assist in their professional development. You will lead by example and act as a role model for our people in the way that you live our behaviours and values.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the Command and Control Teams to deliver the Crisis Management and Resilience programme of activities including, aligned to the KPMG UK's Crisis Management Framework and the Operational Resilience Target Operating Model:
    • Planning and support in the delivery of Crisis Management exercises, testing and training
    • Development of Crisis Management plans and scenario playbooks
    • Crisis Management document maintenance and reporting
  • Support Operational, Tactical and Strategic teams in managing real-life crises/incidents
  • Design and Delivery of Crisis Management training and awareness activities for Strategic, Tactical and Operational response teams
  • Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports on the current state of Crisis Management across KPMG UK
  • Maintain key crisis management intelligence and Crisis Management tooling systems to ensure they are up to date and fit for purpose
  • Act as a the On Call lead for both in and out of hours Crisis Response - invoking the command-and-control teams, activating Crisis Communications Tools, co-ordinating crisis calls/meetings, providing support for incident and decision logging, developing situation reports and delivering post incident review process, including lessons learnt reports

What will you need to do it?

  • Understanding and experience of developing and delivering Incident and Crisis Management policies, procedures aligned with good practice
  • Understanding and experience of developing and delivering programmes of training, testing and exercising for Crisis Management policies and procedures
  • Understanding of information security and operational risk requirements and frameworks
  • Understanding and experience of developing and delivering security policies and procedures, standards and controls in line with regulation and/or current standards, ISO22361 & ISO22301
  • Experience of stakeholder management including experience of working with senior leaders up to board level and multi-disciplinary teams
