Credit Control and Sales Ledger Manager

12-18 month fixed term contract

Colchester, Essex

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Credit Control and Sales Ledger Manager based at our Head Office in Colchester. This role is a fixed term contract for 12-18 months.

About the role:

As the Credit Control and Sales Ledger Manager you will be responsible for our Sales Ledger and Credit Control teams. You will ensure invoices are accurately processed within the deadlines set; managing fee uplifts for private accounts, local authority and ICB accounts. The role will also be responsible for monitoring and driving cash flow and the reduction of debt; producing monthly debt reports and ensuring direct debits are processed with 100% accuracy.

About you:

You will have previous experience in a Sales/Credit Control Management position, ideally within the care sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the sales ledger and credit control functions; the ability to motivate teams to set deadlines and ability to manage challenging situations. Industry experience would be an advantage for this position.
