The Role
The Creative Studio and Delivery Manager oversees and manages a global team of creative and client delivery subject matter experts. Embracing, defining, and implementing processes and best practices, whilst spotting opportunities for improvement ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards. They lead cross-functional teams, manage resources, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Reports to Senior Operation Manager
Key Accountabilities
Project Delivery & Creative Acumen
- Responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex projects
- Overseeing quality control processes to ensure work is carried out to the highest standard
Operations, Compliance & Commercial
- Work with the delivery teams to educate on length of time to complete creative projects and leveraging that knowledge to input into future SoWs
- Supports, drives and advocates for a culture of service excellence and client focus, consistently following and inputting on process improvement
- Manage creative budgets and overseeing tracker
- Full onboarding and advocacy of new processes and ways of working within Monday.com
Team Leadership
- Manages a team of people, plus potentially an additional layer of indirect reports.
- Take ownership for all performance management and personal development needs of team.
- Support and enable staff to develop through training and regular communication including probationary meetings, appraisals, and other performance related meetings
- Manages client teams and resources - responsible for identifying and developing the resources across each client team
- Mentors and develops team deliver best-in-class client service
- Responsible for team engagement and communication across the wider team - using EVM scores to create targeted action plans
- Lead trainings and upskilling to support the team's development as well as guide all team members on ideas and framework for trainings they will lead or contribute to
- Supports Senior Operations Manager in training and onboarding of new colleagues during onboarding programme and act as ongoing support and mentorship within subject matter
Skills & Experience
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous experience within a similar creative/advertising/employer brand/ communications agency
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex creative projects, including planning & scheduling for a variety of creative projects
- A strong understanding of the creative and production processes and the ability to provide constructive feedback during quality control processes
- Proven successful team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Identifies process improvement and provides plan for resolution / amendments prioritizing pace over perfection
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Experience of identifying, and delivering of process and workflow improvements
- Expertise of project management tool - Monday.com
Desirable Knowledge
- Experience of working with remote/virtual teams
- Extensive knowledge of PowerPoint
- Knowledge of end-to-end project delivery
- High focus on quality control and service excellence
