Creative Services Manager

We are looking for a Creative Services Manager to join our B2B Tech Division, which is powered by two great agencies- Nelson Bostock and TMW Business. We work with some exciting high-profile clients such as Amazon Business, Canon, Capita, Cisco, Fujitsu and Toshiba amongst many others in their business growth.
This role will be instrumental in helping to set-up and implement new operational ways of working as a combined team, unifying our resourcing and supporting commercial performance across the combined, integrated team of 90 staff.
The successful candidate will have commercial acumen, organisational and communication skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that help us to keep improving our operational performance. Supported by the wider Unlimited Group operations team, and working within its existing guidelines and operating playbook, this role will report into the B2B Tech Senior Leadership Team.
Role description:
Experience of resourcing people, tasks, job management work for an agency or creative department would be beneficial, as this role will need to oversee the traffic management process for the central delivery engine (planning, creative, content, digital), managing and solving day to day challenges, as well as supporting on the overall resource planning and management for the Division.
This function will also work closely with our delivery team leads and the finance team to ensure estimates are in place and the performance of projects and utilisation of resourced individuals is tracked and monitored to ensure the business remains profitable and competitive.
This role will be responsible for the day to day operational activity within the Division, working alongside HR, IT and finance to ensure all policies and standards are being followed, and processes and systems are in place to support the business and account teams on delivering excellent work for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Resource Management
- Review of resourcing requests, prioritisation and resource delivery planning to deadlines
- Team management includes:
- Creative & design team x10
- Content & copy team x 8
- Planning & Strategy team x4
- Digital, social, insight team x3
- Overseeing a traffic manager to schedule and manage planning and creative resource for the Division, helping to solve issues as they arise
- Working with the traffic manager to review and improve processes and ways of working
- Monitoring capacity, identifying if additional/different skill-sets required
- Management of freelance requirements - IR35, internal set ups, contract negotiations
- Resource projection based on forecast
Commercials
- Development and management of estimates
- Analysing burn rates on projects, and job productivity
- Monitoring utilisation and inputting into resource discussions
- Identification of improvement areas and implementation of better ways of working
- Adherence to company's policies and standards, ensuring that laws and regulations are being followed
- Management and of Company events
- Collaboration with HR to establish and maintain an inclusive, and productive environment for employees and new starters

Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a dynamic setting across agency operations or resource management.
- Strong organisational, communication and commercial skills
- Knowledge of operational functions and principles, including finance, client relationships, and employee management
- Proven ability to manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Strong team player, good relationship building skills and stakeholder management ability
- Able to problem solve and bring proactive ideas to the business
- Experience in a managerial level role, within agency operations or resource management
- Familiarity in an Enterprise Resource Planning tool
- Ability to work confidently in excel and PowerPoint.
- Should be open to embracing AI/RPA and automation
