As the Creative Processes and Systems Manager you will be responsible for the continued maintenance and governance of the Greene King DAM system and strategy, whilst working closely with stakeholders and third parties.
As a Creative Processes and Systems Manager, you will lead the DAM governance and strategy development whilst managing the change management including training and communication. This role will not only oversee the system and workflow you will be managing the metadata roadmap and driving improvements to meet evolving business needs.

Job Description
You role as Creative Systems and Process Manager
- Project manage changes to metadata and taxonomy, asset scope, workflow, system functionality, etc.
- Drive DAM metadata and taxonomy strategies and approach, with strong consideration to asset retrieval needs and alignment with Greene King's business needs, transformation vision and wider technical architecture.
- Develop and oversee rollout of DAM procedures workflows, to ensure useful, relevant workflows across the system that meet business needs, across the asset lifecycle (ingest to archive)
- Interface and align with enterprise level data initiatives and assisting with vendor selection and management.
- Test metadata changes, system enhancements, and new workflows, and coordinating end-user acceptance testing of changes and enhancements.
- Act as the primary participant, facilitator, and driver of cross-functional DAM and metadata governance forum operations, to ensure continued agreement on the metadata schema, taxonomy, and controlled vocabularies, and the prioritisation of workflow and system changes and improvements.
- Develop and manage asset and metadata standards, DAM policy, and governance documentation.
- Coordinate, track, and escalate user feedback on metadata and DAM system requirements to feed into the formal DAM change and improvement governance workflow.
- Support DAM super users in asset curation and metadata change management.
- Oversee framework, content, and execution of user training activities.
- Oversee and support the communication and socialisation of DAM system capabilities, best practices and change control processes regarding the system, content import, and metadata application.
- Oversee and audit adherence to prescribed DAM procedures, metadata standards, and workflows across the digital asset lifecycle (from ingest to archive).
- Conduct system and DAM program reporting
What you'll Bring.....
- Previous experience managing a large Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Media Asset Management (MAM) system, with a strong technical understanding of art of the possible.
- A thorough understanding of navigation round a DAM system, both front UX and back-end.
- Passion and genuine interest in Digital Assets
- Solid knowledge of metadata and taxonomy application and best practices for system navigation and content search and retrieval
- Knowledgeable on scaling DAM systems, workflow improvement and user adoption strategies.
- A thorough understanding of how digital is leveraged effectively for marketing purposes.
- Open minded approach to digital tools, channels and ways to benchmark performance.
- Strong interest in solutions architecture and how DAM integrations could be optimised according to business need.
- Experience maintaining metadata across a large image library
