Creative Director - Workplace Interiors
Location: London
Salary: £100,000 p.a.
The Role:
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for designing exceptional office spaces? We're seeking a Creative Director to join a leading design and build company, renowned for creating innovative and inspiring workplaces.
You'll be the creative force behind our design strategy, working closely with clients from initial brief to final delivery.
Your expertise will be crucial in translating their vision into stunning, functional environments. You'll lead a talented design team, mentor them, and ensure every project reflects our commitment to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Creative Vision: Drive the design strategy for all projects, ensuring they are on brand, on budget, and incorporate the latest trends in workplace design.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, accurately translate their briefs, and present compelling concepts through storyboards, sketches, and proposals.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage the design team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and material selection to site snagging and final sign-off.
- Strategic Growth: Stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies to continuously evolve our design offerings and maintain our position as an industry leader.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate design changes and project progress to all stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration across the business.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in a leadership role within the commercial interior design sector, with a proven track record of managing and delivering high-profile projects.
- A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of design principles and a forward-thinking approach to workplace interiors.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team and build strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in key design software, including AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, InDesign, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Revit is highly advantageous.
- A collaborative and adaptable mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
