Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Content Manager to join our team based in our Head Office, in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role.

As the Creative Content Manager, the successful candidate will work with the creative team to create, plan and deliver a strategic vision for clients. You will build a world class team of internal and external creative resources to ensure that our creative is brilliantly executed, aligned with our brand guidelines and the needs of our clients, as well as bringing a mix of inspirational creativity and marketing expertise to take Human Appeal's campaigns and project output to the next level, with a focus on gaining market share and defending our current position in an increasingly competitive marketplace. We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Creative Content Manager:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and goals, focusing on engaging and innovative content to captivate the target audience.
  • Oversee the creation and production of high-quality content across various formats (e.g. videos, graphics, infographics) ensuring it is creative, relevant, and aligned with brand voice and messaging.
  • Lead the content team in planning, creating, and editing content, providing direction and feedback to maintain high standards of quality and creativity.
  • Manage the content calendar, scheduling content publication across different platforms to ensure a consistent and strategic distribution of content.
  • Ensure all content reflects the company's brand voice and messaging consistently across all platforms and materials.
  • Encourage and implement innovative content ideas and formats to engage the audience, experimenting with new approaches and technologies to enhance content delivery.
  • Improving the quality and efficiency of the creative output

What we're looking for in our Creative Content Manager:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Art, Design / Creative / Graphic Design, Production and Brand Management, or relevant experience
  • Essential: 5+ years of related experience, e.g. film, photography, design, etc.
  • Relevant experience in a marketing, branding or graphic design-related job.
  • Experience using project management tools, e.g. Asana
  • Demonstrated experience of leading and managing teams to provide creative direction and coaching.
  • Strong understanding of effective Creative Design practices, trends, techniques, and processes across various touchpoints or mediums (e.g. packaging, in-store, print, direct)
  • A passion for charity and humanitarian work.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe & Internet applications
  • Advanced MAC programme skills
  • English essential. Knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic/Urdu/Bengali/Gujarati/ Hindi/Punjabi an advantage.

Our Greatest Achievements Include:
• Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials.
• Pioneering technologically innovative infrastructure projects in Pakistan, like designing and building a 25-km embankment on the Chenab River in Pakistan. • Recovering lost livelihoods for vulnerable farmers in Gaza by planting 80,000 olive trees since 1991. The farming project provides each farmer with 30-40 prime olive trees so they can establish a vibrant, sustainable crop that yields not just food but income for generations.
• Restoring safe and secure residential spaces in Syria, like the construction of a new town with 1,000 newly constructed homes in Al Zahoor.
