Our operations network, known for our speed, accuracy, and exceptional service, delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. To keep our operations network secure and assure operational continuity, we are looking for an experienced and customer obsessed professional who wants to join our team as Centralised Resource Centre (CRC) Operations Manager. In this key role, you will lead a team that provides comprehensive remote security monitoring and innovative solutions across our end-to-end supply chain, protecting our people and prevent loss.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead the CRC team in delivering efficient remote security monitoring services
• Manage a team of professionals who provide security as a service to operational sites
• Managing team across multiple countries and operational locations
• Manage the implementation and optimization of integrated security systems
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and technology adoption
• Ensure compliance with security standards and performance metrics
• Engage with senior management to drive strategic security initiatives
A day in the life
As a CRC Operations Manager, you will lead a team of professionals who deliver security monitoring services through integrated remote alarm and CCTV systems across multiple operational sites. Your team will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and investigating security events through and support in the implementation of appropriate response protocols. You will manage the day-to-day deployment of resources, prioritizing workload and assessing risks to meet service level agreements with internal customers. While your team handles routine monitoring and response, you will take ownership of complex tasks and strategic projects. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, budgetary planning, team recruitment, and engaging with senior management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Sitting within the World Wide Operational Security organisation, the Centralised Resource Centre represents an innovative approach to security management. The CRC supports Amazon's business targets and strengthen our brand by:

• Driving continuous innovation in security technology and processes
Working in partnership with our stakeholders, we secure the Amazon supply chain end-to-end through strategic deployment of technology and data-driven solutions. We achieve this through proactive monitoring, swift incident response, and thorough investigations to prevent future occurrences.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience managing teams
- Experience delivering cross functional projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A relevant advanced degree, advanced degree equivalent, or industry certification
- Relevant experience with physical security systems, investigation techniques, and/or management of contract security officers
- Relevant experience with retail, warehouse, distribution centre services, delivery service, or supply chain
- Relevant experience in business writing and communicating with a wide range of senior stakeholders
- Driver's license
