Leeds Law School is seeking an exceptional academic leader to take on the role of Course Director for LLBs within Leeds Law School.

Key responsibilities for the Course Director for LLBs include:
• To provide course direction, organisation and management which ensures an excellent education and experience for students.
• To lead appropriate course and curriculum development.
• To lead excellence of learning, teaching and assessment delivery on the course or group of courses.
• To lead the provision of effective student support and academic advice.
• To lead coordination and integration of learning pathways and academic support framework to support student progression, employability and attainment.

We are looking for candidates who:
• Hold a UK qualifying law degree or UK GDL/CPE, and either a doctorate in a relevant discipline or a full UK professional legal qualification with relevant PQE.
• Are Fellows of Advanced HE (or equivalent).
• Possess an established record of teaching, educational administration, research and publication.

Interviews will take place during May and will be conducted online. There will be a process of longlisting. All longlisted applicants will be invited to submit a recorded teaching session, for example a narrated PowerPoint presentation, for shortlisting purposes and before interviews takes place.
