You will lead our Transport team in UK&I

As our new Country Market Director, you will be part of the extended Global Transport Leadership team as well as the UK Country Leadership team and have dual reporting to the Managing Director of Ramboll UK&I and the Global Transport leadership team. Your priority will be to drive our growth in the UK&I Transport market delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients. As the Country Market Director for Transport, you will be our visible leader externally and internally and demonstrate your collaboration skills through excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Instill purpose and set the direction for Ramboll's Transport division in the UK&I
• Implement and deliver the Ramboll Transport and UK Strategy within the UK&I
• Lead and profitably grow the UK&I Transport Team (approx. 400 Staff)
• Drive collaboration and synergies with your global Transport colleagues and other markets (including Environment, Energy, Buildings and Management Consulting)
• Accountable and ultimately responsible for local business development (BD) plans to include: Key Client plans / Sector plans / BD budgets / and encouraging a BD mindset within the business supporting colleagues to grow their experience, skills and networks
• Lead on growth initiatives, development of new technical solutions/disciplines which have an impact at country and market level.
• Contribute to and lead on strategic discipline business planning and process improvements in collaboration with the Transport leadership team and the UK&I MD
• Be an active part of the UK Country Leadership Team along with the UK MD, other Country Market Leaders, HR and Finance Director
• Be an active member of the Global transport leadership team and collaborate with global spearheads to drive growth and profitability.
• Represent Ramboll Transport in specific trade and industry associations in UK
• Chair the UK&I Transport leadership meeting(s) to review performance, clients, markets, projects, opportunities, staffing/workload, synergies and to share relevant information from management.

• An engineering and/or consultancy background
