Job Overview

Country Manager will be responsible, inside the territory, for managing and supervising business operations, activities, implements opportunities for a business growth.
Country Managers also implement opportunities for business growth and expansion, research market opportunities, and identify the potential target audience.
Should, in agreed with company goals/targets create annual business plans, develop marketing and sales strategies in the territory, and develop, plan, and launch new products/business.

Reporting Structure

Role directly reports to Regional Head of European Operations

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Country Manager/ National Sales Manager or similar
  • Strong knowledge/understanding of the local market and business environment in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Experience in managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leader with excellent communication skills
  • Maintaining and creating new business relationships
  • Managing Tenders and contracts
  • Competence to be recognized as a business partner by the customer.
  • Good MS Office skills, demonstrated knowledge in the use of management systems.
  • Fluency in the local language

Essential Experience

  • At least 5 years' experience as Manager of Sales and/or marketing pharmaceutical products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local market and its actors (customers and competitors) and ability to identify upcoming trends.
  • Previous experience as Area Manager/Kam is preferred.

Job Conditions

  • Home office based with a proportion (>50%) on travelling

Key Roles/Responsibilities

  • Execute market growth activities to improve market access for all business of the company. Achieve Sales and related target as per according to annual plan.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and market data to track progress towards goals and make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop a strategic plan and it on objectives/action to grow sales and profit.
  • Responsible for achieving budgeted Sales, Expenses, and Investment for territories.
  • Drives on-going portfolio and new opportunity of business that result in optimization of resource allocation and return on investment.
  • Ensure Market Analysis to understand the dynamics of each country market, healthcare, and economic environment to identify growth opportunities.
  • Identifies bidding opportunities, coordinates the process to ensure company products are included in tender specifications and increases the chances of success.
  • Be a Leadership of the team, build and lead a high-performance team by training, coaching, and developing people. Drive a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, collaboration, results-oriented mindset.
  • Communicate the sales vision, strategy, and objectives to encourage collaboration and teamwork to achieve the Budget/Goals/Targets
  • Lead and manage all aspects of operation collaborating with internal stakeholder as Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality or other, to achieve organizational objectives
