We are recruiting for Finance Cost Manager. Your role will involve focusing on the d elivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, challenging of business unit costs and supporting the business in delivering its strategy by building strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders across all levels.

Some of the great things you will be involved in:
• Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Provide insightful commentary around business performance
• Co-ordinate planning and forecasting activities, ensure Business Unit costs and Headcount are captured, challenged and sufficient information gathered for accurate reforecasting, incorporating the impact of recent developments
• Business partner to ensure cost base is thoroughly understood and challenged to drive efficiencies
• Trends and KPIs are monitored to support Exec understanding of the cost base
• Continuously seek to improve out processes and find efficiencies
• Ambassador for financial governance across all business activity
• Lead, coach, develop, attract and retain high-performing talent, ensuring appropriate succession planning, who can motivate and drive delivery of objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing professional development
What we'd love to see from you:
• Working towards a recognised qualification
• Experience of cost centre management working closely with non-finance stakeholders
• Articulate and logical thinker
• Management Accounts experience, managing tight reporting deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of general accounting principles
