The Opportunity

Our expert trainers will guide you through a 9-week virtual learning program, equipping you with the latest tools and knowledge to step confidently into the role of Cost Controller.

Once your training is complete, you’ll join AWE, our leading public sector client, working within the Business Management team. Your role will involve managing all aspects of cost control, from maintaining accurate cost data to producing reports and forecasts. You’ll have the chance to contribute to important projects and work with a dedicated team who values your experience and fresh perspective.

What Your Role Will Involve:

  • Producing and maintaining accurate cost and cash forecasts, aligned with cost assessments.
     
  • Developing cost systems and ensuring key objectives are met.
     
  • Managing all cost data within the financial control system and delivering reports for stakeholders.
  • Analyzing trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and applying earned value techniques.
  • Reviewing and integrating cost estimates and forecasts, while adhering to governance standards.

We’re Looking for Individuals Who Can Demonstrate:

Professional qualifications (chartered status or equivalent preferred).

Experience in business management.

Strong proficiency with tools such as Excel and financial management systems.

A talent for building relationships and motivating teams.

A proactive and flexible approach to managing tasks and priorities.
