Job Description

About the Role

As Corporate Communications Manager, you will manage communications with ASOSers and lead or support communications with business and trade media on ASOS' strategy, business updates, and initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Internal and External Communications, you will help drive an integrated communications programme internally as well as externally, managing and developing a team of three communications professionals.

What You'll be Doing

  • Developing and managing ASOS' external corporate communications, including with our agency.
  • Keeping ASOSers informed and engaged with clear communication of our strategy and progress.
  • Drafting written material of exceptional quality, including internal communications (weekly newsletter, Viva Engage posts etc), strategic updates and supporting key events such as financial results and the Annual Report.
  • Managing and developing the Communications team, including Internal Communications and Corporate Communications.
  • Ensuring work ladders up to clear objectives and KPIs and overseeing monthly reporting.
  • Supporting our culture by driving our Values, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

Qualifications

Who We'd Like to Meet

  • Experienced comms professional who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills and the confidence to interact with - and constructively challenge - senior management.
  • An eye for detail and an excellent writer who can adapt to the ASOS tone of voice.
  • Data-driven approach - understanding of how to use insight to shape comms planning and evaluation.
  • Experience leading a team, being able to inspire and engage others in developing creative internal communications.
  • Passion for ASOS.
  • Internal comms experience not essential
