The Role:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for Anti-Money Laundering, Know your Customer, Source of Funds, and Proof of Ownership checks in property transactions.
  • Follow a process of continuous review and proactive management of absenteeism and attrition for all Advisors.
  • Continually review and monitor work performance of all Advisors against agreed KPI's.
  • Coach, develop and motivate Advisors by providing the skills and knowledge to perform their job.
  • Identify risks, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions to mitigate compliance issues.

Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a compliance role within the property sector, ideally with a focus on AML, KYC, and transaction verification
  • Strong knowledge of U.K. property regulations, including Money Laundering Regulations 2017
  • Excellent understanding of Source of Funds Verification and Proof of Ownership processes in real estate transactions
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle complex and sensitive information
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with senior management and external stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Experience working with property management software or compliance tools.
