Your new role
As our new Commercial Contracts Specialist, you will be part of the Ramboll Transport commercial team in the UK & Ireland. You will join a supporting and collaborative culture and environment, allowing you to develop and grow in your role. You will work alongside other commercial teams from other Markets and geographies.
You will review contracts and other legal documents, negotiate and draft documentation to mitigate risks, and provide legal information and interpretation to the Transport commercial team. Additionally, you will support project teams on administering contracts and providing mitigation advice against potential legal implications.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Reviewing contracts and other legal documents, identifying and communicating potential legal implications to project teams.
- Negotiating, reviewing, and drafting documentation for UK and Ireland Transport business to mitigate risks.
- Providing legal information, interpreting relevant Ramboll policies, and communicating procedures to Transport UK & Ireland commercial team.
- Supporting project management teams on commercial aspects of the change process in collaboration with the Project Manager, inputting into project forecasting through the EWN and Compensation Event processes.
- Adhering to Ramboll's internal policies and governance, providing guidance to stakeholders.
About you
- Relevant contract and project experience within engineering/construction.
- Prior contract experience within a consultancy or engineering company in the construction, environmental, or infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience in applying commercial acumen to contract review and advice.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills.
- Ability to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong self-learning and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and interact with all organizational levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and be results-oriented.
