We are now looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of multiple projects across the country.
What you'll be doing
As a Contracts Manager with Balvac, you will:
- Manage the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Take full ownership of project P&L, ensuring operational and financial targets are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, consultants, and the wider supply chain.
- Promote sustainability and innovation, embedding lean construction principles across projects.
- Lead and inspire project teams, driving a culture of Zero Harm, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Report regularly to senior management on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Who we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience in contract and project management within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Financial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and performance effectively.
- A passion for safety, sustainability, and delivering excellence.
- A valid CSCS card; professional/technical qualifications (e.g. APMP) are desirable.
- Knowledge or experience of Lean Construction principles or BIM would be an advantage.
