Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree level and/or equivalent knowledge, training and experience in the NHS or other/similar Healthcare setting experience
- Evidence of personal development in the NHS or other/similar Healthcare setting experience
Desirable criteria
- Degree is Finance or Business based
- Evidence of Personal Development in a Contracting/Finance Environment
Experience/Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an NHS environment or other/similar Healthcare setting and understanding of Contracts and Service Level agreements
- Previous Experience of Supervising a small team
- Previous experience of day to day use of Microsoft applications i.e. Word, Excel, Teams and other IT packages
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Experience of liaising with Commissioning/Contracting colleagues and dealing with the day to day contract issues
- Knowledge of NHS Payment Scheme including High cost Drugs and Devices
Desirable criteria
- A good understanding of NHS Standard Contracts and Service Level Agreements
- Experience of Supervising in a Contracting Environment
- Ability to use Excel and manipulate the data being used to fulfil the needs of the Department
- Excellent mathematical skills and accuracy when producing data previous Data Analysis experience
- Understanding of the Overseas Visitors Charging Regulations
