Effective contract management is integral to how we deliver our services whilst ensuring this is done in a way that provides value for money in both the short and long term. We are currently looking for a contract manager who can bring a unique blend of commercial acumen and knowledge of technology to manage a portfolio of operationally critical contracts. These are unique roles blending commercial skillsets with operational deliverables which provide an opportunity to be at the forefront across every aspect of supplier performance. These roles will also be integral to the development of a robust future strategy across technology which may extend further than bus. Your work will directly improve the quality of life for millions of people.

Bus-specific experience is not required - we welcome candidates from a range of comparable backgrounds.

Your Role

To lead the application of best practice contract and commercial management throughout the contract lifecycle across a portfolio of IS suppliers ensuring compliance to contracts, management of contract changes and adherence to KPIs. This role will also be involved in ensuring ongoing delivery of obligations across installation, decommissioning and enhancement programmes of work working closely with the Operational and IS team to ensure all hardware assets, software systems and licenses are delivered according to required internal and regulatory standards. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work in the office 2 days per week.

You will bring commercial expertise coupled with a strong background of asset management understanding the full lifecycle from operational aspects through to reporting on financial positions and ensuring value for money. This is a permanent role with a salary of £47,539 - £52,866 depending on experience
