Are you an experienced Contract Manager or Project Manager looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team, managing the Area East SDF National Highways Contract and other key contracts. Based in the Anglia region, this role offers the chance to oversee a diverse portfolio of works spanning Anglia, the East and West Midlands, the Southwest, Southeast, and London.

As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with Business Development, Site Managers, and Supervisors, conducting site surveys, evaluating the scope of work, and managing tender submissions. You`ll develop comprehensive project plans, oversee budgets, and ensure that all projects meet contract, commercial, and sustainability requirements. Your ability to cultivate strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders will be key to your success.

This position offers a hybrid working model, with a mix of home, office, and site work, including occasional night shifts for site visits. If you`re ready to bring your expertise to a role that offers both challenge and reward, we`d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead site surveys, tender submissions, and project planning in collaboration with key stakeholders.

- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and ensure projects meet contractual and sustainability requirements.

- Oversee smooth execution across engineering, design, procurement, and construction teams.

- Cultivate strong internal and external relationships, ensuring timely communication and progress updates.

- Identify and mitigate risks, while driving innovation and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.Qualifications and Experience:

- Proven experience in managing transportation or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management practices, with a focus on sustainability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and risk management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and digital systems (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- SMSTS qualification and CSCS Card required; NEBOSH qualification preferred or to be attained.What we offer:
