Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team in Hemel Hempstead on our Cormar contract. This customer-facing role requires a commercially savvy individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service and driving growth.

Salary - £Comp

How will you contribute?

  • Build a relationship with the customer, securing contract renewals and ensuring business excellence
  • Ensure all KPI's, such as operational and financial targets are met as required
  • Engage, develop and motivate your team to ensure a positive and constructive workplace and drive colleague engagement
  • Be an advocate for excellent customer experience
  • Work efficiently to tight deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction targets and service targets are adhered to in line with our values and behaviours
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the operation, communicating planned requirements providing information on performance, company news and procedures
  • Ensuring an effective people resourcing plan to meet the needs of the business
  • You will be responsible for building relationships with business partners to ensure that they meet the service level agreements
  • Be actively involved with budget reviews with added value thinking for the customer.
  • Ensure the operation operates to the mutual benefit of the customer and the company.

What will you bring?

  • Senior management experience of working within a 3PL environment, FMCG, supply chain, understanding processes and operations requirements.
  • Fully familiar with stringent service level expectations, in both a transport environment & Warehouse environment.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to deliver benefit against an Open book budget.
  • You will have experience of working closely with clients and developing effective working relationships.
  • Proactive and flexible in your approach, a self-starter who is driven to achieve.
  • Have the ability to continually look for ways to enhance and improve current processes.
  • Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Must have the enthusiasm and commitment in order to the meet the considerable challenge of operating in the highly customer focused environment
  • Must be able to commute to Hemel Hempstead 5 day a week.
