About the Role

Base Location: Inverness, Perth or Aberdeen

Salary: £52,285 - £60,730 + car / car allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As a Contract Manager as part of the Framework team, you will lead the implementation of the commercial and contractual support service within the regions on the following framework contracts: Overhead Line, Primary Substation Electrical Installation & Civil Works, Cabling up to 33KV, Cable Plough, Automation, Rising Lateral & Mains, Jointing and any other approved frameworks that are required by the business.

Your duties will include:

- Working with key stakeholders to ensure frameworks are embedded within the business ensuringa rigorous control environment is in place to effectively manage commercial risk, compliance and competence while creating value across the portfolio of contracts.

- Driving ongoing improvements with our framework partners through dialogue / senior management quarterly reviews on safety, performance, quality and cost plays a major role in the success of this position.

- Additional duties will be to lead and provide commercial support to a small team of Quantity Surveyors.

What do I need?

To ensure you get the most from your role, and our customers receive the highest standard of service, we ask that you have the following to join us:

- Relevant qualifications in construction / contract management or vast experience in a similar role is essential.

- Ability to produce commercial and contractual management reports along with carrying out meaningful and influential presentations.

- Demonstrable experience of working within a commercial / contractual environment.

- A high regard for safety, embedding yourself in our safety culture and adhering to guidelines in everything you do is a key priority.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.

A full UK driving licence is required as your role will involve a degree of travel between regional offices and sites.
