We have a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our team!

The Transmission Interface Contracts Manager handles Electrical Transmission Contracts to secure Transmission Network connections.

Working as part of a team of Contract Managers, you will handle the commercial management of contracts and update our contractual position.

The role will involve close collaboration with various teams including Connections Policy and Performance, System Planning, Finance, Regulation, and Large Capital Delivery.

You'll manage your own portfolio, providing an excellent service to all stakeholders, by managing their expectations and assisting them with any queries they may have.

Other roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Make sure all contracts are sent back to National Grid ESO within the specified timelines given in the offer. This requires overseeing the contracts within the organisation to secure approval from senior management and various stakeholders.

- Ensure that applications are submitted to National Grid ESO within the specified timeframe and securing proactive engagement from internal stakeholders necessary to make the applications valid upon submission.

- Working with co-ordinators to raise purchase orders on the iBuy purchasing system to pay for applications.

- Understand and support the development of strategic relationships with Transmission Owners, ESO and Distribution System Operators.

- Liaise with Finance on applicable invoices, receipts, and refunds.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience in drafting and interpreting commercial contracts.

- Business and technical knowledge of an Electrical Distribution/Transmission business or similar market.

- Detailed knowledge and experience of contract structures and documentation.

- Experience of supplier development techniques and managing the development of supplier relationships.

- Previous experience working within a regulated environment.
