We're currently recruiting a dedicated Contract Director to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Contract Director, you are in place to develop and lead a team of Catering and Support Services Managers within the contract to provide exceptional service to our clients. Manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to. Drive foodservice and FM support service solutions that exceed new and existing customer requirements.

Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial value to the Leadership and Executive teams in line with the One Compass vision, values and overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive the strategy of growth and retention of new and existing business in each sector through leading the development of long term account plans, including a rolling lifecycle review process
• Drive the sales team to develop financially sound bids and proposals and sign off final agreements to ensure we deliver operationally sound contracts
• Development of strategic client relationships
• Deliver the profit for the region through leading the Contract and Support Services Managers in delivery of their financial targets.
• Ensure purchasing complies with Compass Group UK & Ireland policies
• Ensure waste control measures are in place
• Ensure high quality food offers
• Manage labour costs above budget to client through policies in place
• Challenge and continually review labour structures and ratios
• Ensure that all legislative and One Compass operational policies are implemented to provide a safe environment for all

• Experience in highly commercial and price sensitive markets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fully conversant with current Health and Safety and food safety regulation.
• Experience on application of risk management, analysis and reduction
• Managed senior level third party relationships
