Job Title: Continuing Airworthiness Records

Location: – RAF Coningsby – On site

Salary: £ 38,926

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring the effective delivery of Continuing Airworthiness Records activities through relevant priority setting and delivery targets are met.

  • Making sure all maintenance activities are appropriately documented; the records are maintained on the relevant IT Systems/Toolsets. All activities you perform by having been suitably trained, qualified, experienced and authorised.

  • Ensure the Continuing Airworthiness Records team’s compliance with the MAI CAME and all associated procedures and standards and where appropriate raise any team process documents or Local Operating Procedures to facilitate change as required to ensure compliance.

  • Assist in Military Airworthiness Review, Typhoon Engineering Support System (ESS) and F700 audits; respond to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Management of Aircraft Configuration during maintenance, utilising the Trilogiview dataset to assist in correcting and investigating data anomalies and ensuring Reference and Business Data is accurately maintained.

  • Assist in Aircraft Maintenance Task recording utilising Statement of Work (SoW) documents.

  • Completion of Data Change Requests and ensuring compliance with Special Instructions (Technical) (SI(T’s)) technical content and completion deadlines.

  • Using Resolve to seek Engineering Authority advice via System Enquiry and then completing the actions directed to a successful outcome.

  • Utilising Maintenix to confirm work completion, asset exchanges and SI(T) recording is completed accurately and transfer details to ESS.

  • Interacting with Pt 145, MAOS MIL Part M, Typhoon Support Centre and Engineering Records on a daily basis.

  • The role is on-base at RAF Coningsby, working 37 Hours across 5 days, (no shift work). The nature of the IT systems involved of this role require the applicant to be physically on site during working hours.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of the Part M / Part 145 organisations

  • A Working Knowledge of Typhoon Engineering Support System (ESS) and IMS at operator level.

Desirable:

  • Minimum HNC in data management or a technical discipline.

  • Aircraft Maintenance Qualification, preferably Typhoon or other military platform.

  • Understanding of first, second and third signatory responsibilities within aircraft engineering (preferably previously held).

  • Royal Air Force JNCO/ SNCO On/Off aircraft Mechanical or Avionics Trades.

  • Recent experience within a maintenance environment.

The Typhoon Continuing Airworthiness Team:

As Part of the Continuing Airworthiness Records team, you will be part of the promotion of a Safety culture within the team, ensuring the application of all aspects of SHE is in line with the SHE Plan holder policy and processes, Raising appropriate documentation when necessary. Ensuring you incorporate all elements of Human Factors, Error Management, Risk assessments and safety & Quality assurance.
