The Team
A&M is seeking a Contingent Workforce Manager to oversee and optimize the management of its contingent workforce across the EMEA region. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with labour laws and IR35 regulations, fostering collaboration between internal teams and external vendors, and providing expertise in managing contingent workers. The successful candidate will play a critical role in contract negotiations, onboarding, compliance, and workforce strategy.
How you will contribute
Contract Negotiation
- Lead contract negotiations with contingent workers, including C-suite level agreements.
- Draft, revise, and ensure compliance with company protocols and contractual obligations.
- Provide advice on contracting versus employment setups and their implications.
Onboarding and Offboarding Oversight
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
- Monitor contract end dates and manage escalations for expired contracts.
- Oversee offboarding processes, ensuring proper handover, equipment return, and data security.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to local labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies for contingent workers.
- Audit contingent worker contracts to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes, including IR35, and collaborate with the Off Payroll team for compliance.
Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with staffing agencies.
- Negotiate vendor agreements and manage service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor vendor performance and address issues or discrepancies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary contact between contingent workers, internal teams, and external vendors.
- Partner with HR, Legal, IT, Tax, and Finance to address workforce needs and resolve challenges.
- Align contingent workforce practices with the overall talent strategy.
Reporting and Analytics
- Track and analyse contingent workforce metrics, including cost and performance.
- Generate and present reports to senior management, highlighting trends and opportunities for optimisation.
- Leverage data to inform decision-making and improve workforce strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in contingent workforce management or vendor management.
- Knowledge of contract labour laws, IR35, and related compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
