Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Content Manager to join our team at DNVs Supply Chain and Product Assurance business area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the content strategy for our company. Your main goal will be driving and implementing global thought leadership initiatives and strategic and tactical campaigns. Your efforts will contribute to building a consistent brand and solid reputation for DNV and attract customer interest.

In the SCPA Marketing & Communications unit, the focus is on supporting our organization in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient, and eco-friendly future. This includes enhancing our reputation as a thought leader and supporting revenue generation through strategic brand activation initiatives. To achieve these goals, crafting compelling content that resonates with targeted audiences is paramount. The Content Manager's role is instrumental in shaping SCPA's narrative, contributing to industry leadership, and fostering meaningful connections to support organizational goals.

The Content Manager will have a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Contributes to the development and implements the content strategy to support the delivery of SCPA Marketing Communications and the overall business strategy.
  • Drives, oversees, and executes key global thought leadership content initiatives and strategic campaigns across multiple channels and formats to build a consistent brand and reputation.
  • Researches and develops content on relevant topics based on global trends and industry issues.
  • Produces high-quality content in all forms through writing, editing, and collaboration with internal and external resources such as experts, consultants, researchers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develops and reviews blogs and customer stories relevant to SCPA's strategic areas.
  • Provides editorial sign-off on global content pieces for the SCPA business area.
  • Measures content/campaign performance and establishes consistent feedback loops to create impact and learning.
  • Creates, improves, and maintains relevant content packages, engaging customers and external stakeholders to build a solid reputation, improve relationships, deliver a positive experience, and build trust and advocacy for SCPA.
  • Manages campaign budgets and interactions with subject matter experts (SMEs), agencies, contractors, and sales-focused colleagues across the campaign lifecycle.
  • Takes responsibility for project managing prioritized strategic campaigns, informing and involving all relevant functions and stakeholders as appropriate throughout campaign development, execution, and measurement.
  • Participates in monthly Content Forum meetings with Group/other Business Areas. Representing the business area in the forum and providing
  • Works closely with the digital marketing function sharing their expertise in writing for different channels and audiences to help enhance website and email marketing copy
  • Collaborates with other teams within the Marketing Communications function, such as digital marketing, external relations, and the regional teams, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to content creation and distribution.

The content manager will be based in any DNV's UK offices.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in content writing, strategizing, and campaign management.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective content strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Experience writing for different channels including web and email marketing with a good understanding of the fundamentals of SEO
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, ensuring timely execution of brand activation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in working autonomously and collaboratively as part of an international, virtual team.
  • Experience in professional services with a focus on sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), or product assurance would be advantageous.
  • Desirable comms or PR agency experience.
  • Desirable experience in any of SCPA's core sectors: food & beverage, aquaculture, automative, rail, hard to-decarbonize sectors.
