The Role: Content Creator & Social Media Manager:
We're looking for a high-energy Content Creator to own brand storytelling and social media. This role is for someone who thinks like a creator, edits to a high professional standard, and strategizes like a social media lead.
You'll develop viral, scroll-stopping content that shares Goodwall's mission and impact, drives engagement with existing and new brand partners, and sets EdTech trends -not just follows them.
60% Content Creation | 40% Social Media Execution
- Think high-growth influence-content that is punchy, fast, and culturally relevant.
- Work directly with the Founders & Marketing to bring Goodwall's digital presence to life.
- You will be Goodwall's in-House Content Creator- with this comes high standards and significant scope to innovate, build, and scale our in-house content creation strategy.
What You'll Own:
Content Creation & Video Editing (60%)
- Own Partner and Founder video content - shoot, edit, optimize, and publish with focus on LinkedIn, X as well as partnership with Marketing across TikTok, Instagram,
- Craft viral, bite-sized clips that tell stories in under 60 seconds-think hook-first, trend-driven, and algorithm-friendly.
- Elevate Goodwall's brand positioning and Founders' thought leadership with polished, high-impact video content.
- Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, interviews, talks) into highly shareable short-form content.
- Master of captivating storytelling - snappy captions, strong visuals, and perfect pacing.
- Push the boundaries of creative content formats - experiment with storytelling, animations, and emerging trends.
Social Media Strategy & Execution (40%)
- Own and grow the social presence of Goodwall and its Founders - positioning them as industry leaders.
- Develop and maintain a data-backed content calendar- post consistently, track performance, iterate fast.
- Analyze what works - A/B test hooks, thumbnails, and posting times to optimize reach and engagement.
- Stay two steps ahead of trends - create reactive content, and leverage viral formats.
- Engage with our audience - build community and foster meaningful conversations.
- Work cross-functionally to align content with broader brand, marketing, and business objectives.
What You Bring:
- 3-5+ years experience in video editing & content creation (or a strong portfolio and audience demonstrating proven success).
- Experience could include a similar role at a fast-growing startup or building your own portfolio and social media following.
- Highly skilled, innovative video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels - you know what works and why.
- Obsessed with social media metrics-you track engagement, optimize, and constantly improve.
- Creative and strategic-you can craft viral content but also think long-term about brand positioning.
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments-you move fast, test, learn, and iterate.
- Entrepreneurial mindset-you're eager to own, build, and scale an in-house content function from the ground up.
- Bonus: Experience in EdTech, startups, or personal branding for executives.
