What you'll be doing;
- Manages the tanker fleet and drivers to ensure customer requirements are met whilst ensuring driver and vehicle compliance. Putting plans in place to ensure contingencies in place for leave, sickness and vehicle failure. Be available to support day to day breakdowns and incidents.
- Oversees the waste management sub-contract to ensure Veolia's waste is managed efficiently, innovations are identified and compliance is maintained. Maintains positive customer relationships.
- Manage costs of fleet maintenance, sub-contractors, employee costs and fuel to ensure budgets are met.
- Ensures a safe working environment, through the pro-active management of Safety, Health and Environment, complying with all legislative, company and client policies, processes and procedures.
- Support growth of Total Waste Management business through identifying opportunities responding to tenders mobilising and managing jobs.
What we're looking for;
- Experience working in operations delivery
- Had previous experience with financial management, quality, compliance & SHE
- Previous experience managing people and developing great teams
- Experience within Waste, Engineering or Environmental services
- CPC (Desirable)
- The ability to manage a fleet
