Job Title: Consultant / Senior Consultant (Media Management Global Team)
Position reports to: Senior Director / Director
The role sits within the Global Client Success team responsible for Media Management. Functions of this service line include helping advertisers set up to succeed (media operating model design), identifying the right media agency partner (Agency Selection Management is a core focus) and helping maximise the value of established media agency relations (examples include media process reviews and performance related fee consulting). Tech specialists also work as part of this team empowering clients to fully understand the ROI, operational improvements, and strategic advantages of their digital media technology investments.
The primary responsibility of the role will involve working with either Senior Directors or Directors to help deliver key client projects, helping maintain a high quality of team output. The Media Management service line is a priority growth area for the company and this role requires a consultative approach to solving of client challenges. These challenges are broad ranging, and you will likely need to work closely with other service lines to help solve these. Prior experience performing a similar role in another consultancy or in a media agency business development role with a focus on digital media will be a definite asset.
The role will suit an ambitious and experienced person with a strong interest in media, marketing, communication, and media consulting. The other team members are experienced media practitioners who have held media agency, client side and other consulting jobs - as a result it is a good opportunity to learn working with team members who have a broad range of skillsets interfacing with Heads of Media, Media Managers and Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Key Activities:
• Help deliver a consultative service and smart solutions to specific client challenges whilst providing day to day leadership of specific projects
• Act as interface support with client media leads across Media Management projects
- Able to craft the narrative for client presentations, using data to provide the storytelling
- Review reports, spotting patterns, outliers and interesting data points
- Find insights and make actionable recommendations that add value to client business
- Provide answers to the "So what?" and "Why?" questions that clients may ask
• Responsible for helping manage project team's workflow, ensuring client meeting / project delivery deadlines can be met
• Support internal knowledge sharing and Media Management best practice across Ebiquity teams
• Develop analysis output to ensure the final client presentation provides clear and insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement
• Contribute to client account management and continual relationship building with key client accounts
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What you will bring to the role:
• Minimum three year's media experience from media agency or a media consulting side - preferably longer
• You will possess an excellent knowledge of all media and how it is traded; ideally with a focus on digital media
• You will be comfortable working with specialist expertise collaboratively to deliver client solutions
• You will be a good communicator able to explain complicated concepts simply and clearly
• Good numerical and analytical skills underpinned by tight project management
• You will possess strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
• A self-going team player with an open mind and positive attitude
