As Programme Manager, your focus on operational excellence will be essential in enabling the smooth delivery of our programmes. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities of the programme, including coordinating logistics such as venue bookings and catering, managing participant registrations, and ensuring all communications are delivered seamlessly. The Tax and Legal learning team seeks a highly motivated professional with strong organisational skills, a keen interest in operational efficiency and who is able to work as part of a team. The chosen candidate will also be required to have strong interpersonal skills, and a knowledge and appreciation of the stakeholders across both Tax and Legal and HR, or willingness to develop those relationships.

The core responsibilities will include:

• Creating a project plan to include all activities required for successful delivery of the programme and communicating key responsibilities and deadlines to the core team

• Ensuring that all activities are completed in a timely manner and identifying any areas of risk to Curriculum Lead or Course Owner

• Accountable for all administration related to the delivery of the programme including:

o Setting up of the programme in Cornerstone SBX (Deloitte's Learning Management System) to manage registrations

o Drafting and issuing programme communications

o Monitoring registrations and supporting Curriculum Leads on room assignments, where applicable

o Completion of a risk assessment and emergency procedures document

o Leveraging other event platforms to manage individual session sign ups and provision of 'event app' to support delivery

• Leveraging Learning Events team (in LTSS) to support on the administration of large and complex events

• Management of the venue, including contracting, leading weekly calls and completion of the Working Document

• Management of external suppliers to the extent relevant for the programme including contracting, requirements and leading weekly calls

• On-site support to ensure smooth running of programme

• Bringing any process/system issues or challenges with LTSS support, to the attention of the Tax & Legal Operations Lead

• Creating a survey in line with the agreed evaluation approach for Tax & Legal programmes and collating and reporting back on data

• Acting as the point person for LTSS (including Learning Events) for all questions relating to the programme

• Sharing best practice with other Programme Managers and leveraging expertise and guidance from the Programme Manager community to ensure Tax & Legal programmes continue to be delivered in the most efficient and effective way

• The ability to work collaboratively and consult effectively and independently across all levels in the organisation

• Good commercial acumen for vendor management and financial planning

• Experience of working with external vendors in terms of managing relationships and Service Level Agreements

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
