Our Brilliant Balfour Beatty Highways/Smart Motorways Alliance New Emergency Area Retro-Fit (NEAR) team has a terrific opportunity for a Construction Manager to look after our project on the M25, Junction 5 to Junction 7.
What you'll be doing
The individual will take ownership of and lead the construction activities on the afore-mentioned NEAR scheme, ranging from managing the construction programme & budget, undertaking briefings, reviewing RAMS, putting people to work, managing all self-delivery and subcontract works on site, managing the site Agents (subordinates) and ensuring the project is run safely, and to programme. The individual will also be required to present the progress onsite at monthly MPR reviews to the Alliance board. The individual will report directly to the Project Director and liaise with other key members of the team such as QS/Design/Planning
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:

  • Previous construction management on Civils/Highways projects
  • CSCS accredited
  • Within a reasonable commutable distance of the project location as mentioned above
  • Valid UK driving licence
