Configuration Specialist, CO System Management

We're expanding our team within Amazon Operations.

This role will require to work from the office 5 days a week.

As Configurations Specialist, you will play an integral part in Amazon Logistics and make a direct impact on how quickly a parcel reaches the customer. As part of the Central Operations Team, you will support daily planning and forecasting to help our UK Delivery Stations to deliver to our customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Execute network design configuration changes and co-ordinate with requester
- Execute and process adherence reviews, co-ordinate changes with stations
- Deep dive into data reviews, auditing and updating daily checklists
- Develop, audit and update standard work documents
- Function as an advisor to the UK Delivery Station network on standard operational practices
- Mentor new joiners
- Lead continuous improvement
- Keep the customer at the heart of every decision you make
- You will ensure that targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements

A day in the life
You will play a proactive role in written and verbal communication with various departments and stakeholders, as you maintain Amazon's exceptionally high levels of service, both for our customers and suppliers. We need you to step back at strategic intervals to take in the bigger picture and to be comfortable conducting research into process improvement initiatives

About the team
The Central Operations team strive to stay agile from the second an order is placed online on Amazon and aim to provide seamless coordination behind the scenes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Relevant experience in an analytical tasks or projects, working with data
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
- Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership
- Previous experience within transportation or logistics
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
