Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7. Day-time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Compliance Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Complete all legal compliance daily / weekly reports and processes, ie; Fuelice, Tachomaster, Key2, LOGICS
• To manage all LGV fleet R + M, non-contract maintenance costs and fleet availability in line with business requirements
• To ensure all drivers have received a driving assessment, induction, driver CPC, Manual Handling, Key Procedures & EU driver hours and WTD training
• Manage transport systems to ensure that all servicing and tachograph reports are completed within given timescales
• Ensure all vehicle and driver files are accurate and kept up to date
• Briefing drivers on safety and compliance issues (inc. monthly toolbox talks, tachograph infringements, microlise performance legislation updates)
• Actively promote a 'safety first' culture amongst the DHL Team

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous experience within a Transport operation is essential
• Experience of managing a LGV fleet in a fast moving environment
• Knowledge of transport regulations and legal compliances
• Health & Safety knowledge
• IT literate - Microsoft packages and Microlise
• Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
• Ability to work in a pressured environment and manage conflicting priorities
