Salary:£43, 704 - £51,484 + a range of benefits to support your finances,wellbeingand family.

The role

Join SSE Business Energy asTeam Manageryouwill lead a team of skilled complaint handlers responsible for resolving complex, high-risk, and sensitive customer complaints. This role ensures that all cases are managed in line with regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer expectations, while driving continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of complex complaint handlers to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the end-to-end handling of complex complaints, ensuringtimelyandaccurateresolution.
  • Identifytrends and root causes to recommend process improvements.
  • Act as an escalation point for high-risk or sensitive cases.

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Strong organisational and exceptional communication skills.
  • Understanding of emotional intelligence and how this is relevant when managing a team of people.
  • A proactive approach to innovation and problem solving.
  • Experience within a customer service environment.
  • Experience of working within a leadership role.
