Job Description

Within Heathrow, a stakeholder is any individual, group, or organisation that can affect, be affected by, or perceive to be affected by a programme.

The Stakeholder Engagement Consultant will support the stakeholder managers identify, engage, and build trust with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the programmes and its constituent tranches/projects deliver their benefits within required timescales.

Our base principle is to have face to face meetings as our primary method of engagement and to record all interactions on a shared platform (ACC)

The Stakeholder Engagement consultant will be part of the dynamic Stakeholder Engagement team and will support the Stakeholder Engagement Managers on the various programmes. All activities will be aligned to deliver the stakeholder engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Working with project teams to identify engagement needs and input onto the stakeholder engagement plan.
  • Organising and facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions, capturing minutes from the sessions and taking ownership of actions to be completed.
  • Ensuring that all interactions are recorded.
  • To collate all the necessary information and create engaging literature e.g., presentations to share with our stakeholders.
  • Have ongoing communication with the programme teams and ensure that everyone is aligned to the same objective.
  • Communication with the stakeholders both informal and formal - always thinking about the impact and any future stakeholders.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - a great team player
  • Using initiative and thinking outside the box
  • Airside pass compliant

Desirable

  • Understanding of the airport and its operation and stakeholders
  • Proficient in using technology and systems.
  • Attention to detail and recording all interactions
  • Ability to hold an airside driving license.
