  • £33,366 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Your role and responsibilities

As our Community Outreach Manager, you'll will oversee Suffolk Libraries' outreach provision, which currently incorporates Mobile Libraries and the Home Library Service. You'll lead on the development and improvement of these services, as well as explore and develop new ways of delivering library outreach. You will also work in partnership with the Volunteer Engagement Manager and static library staff in respect of the management of the Home Library Service.

On a typical day, you might:

  • support and guide mobile library managers and Suffolk Community Libraries local staff
  • lead service improvement initiatives to increase usage and community reach
  • champion innovation and inclusion in how we deliver outreach

You will need

  • experience managing community-focused services or outreach programmes
  • strong leadership and people management skills
  • a passion for inclusive service delivery and community engagement
  • the ability to think strategically and deliver operational improvements.
