Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, OT or Social Worker
  • Evidence of post registration learning

Desirable criteria

  • Post graduate qualification in professional area of practice
  • Quality improvement/Project management qualification

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria

  • Registered mental health nurse (RMN)
  • Sound knowledge and experience of mental health nursing care in relation to clinical interventions, policies, service development and delivery within community and recovery services
  • Experience of auditing
  • Knowledge of the legal and ethical framework set out by the NMC code of professional conduct and other relevant legislation

  • Experience of working with experts by experience to develop and deliver services

Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Experience in leadership and management
  • Experience of delivering training and presenting to groups of people

Experience

  • Experiencing in a leadership role in a mental health setting at B7 or above
  • Experience in leading service development/improvement

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of policy development
  • Experience of project management and delivery
