Community Manager

We're seeking a passionate Brand & Community Manager to elevate our brand presence and foster an engaged community of educators, school leaders, and stakeholders within the international school ecosystem. This role focuses on both online and offline community-building initiatives, content creation, and strategic brand management. You'll collaborate with the rest of the marketing team, as well as personal development and customer experience teams, to develop campaigns that resonate with our target audience and foster long-lasting relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Management:
- Brand Strategy: Develop and execute a brand strategy that aligns with the company's goals, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and positioning across all touchpoints.
- Brand Awareness Campaigns: Plan and execute brand awareness campaigns that highlight our unique value propositions, leveraging digital channels, industry partnerships, and educational events.
- Thought Leadership: Position the company as a leader in the international school space by managing the development of blog posts, newsletters, whitepapers, webinars, and speaking engagements at industry events.
- Social Media Strategy: Manage social media presence across relevant channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), driving engagement, growing followers, and increasing brand visibility in the international school market.
Community Engagement & Growth:
- Community Building: Lead our engagement in the existing online and offline community of international schools by fostering meaningful interactions and engagement across platforms such as social media groups and events.
- Engagement Strategies: Design and implement community engagement programs, including webinars, Q&A sessions, online meetups, and content-sharing initiatives to encourage active participation.
- Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers and thought leaders in the international education space, including our own brand ambassadors, to co-create content and amplify the company's reach.
- Event Coordination: Organize and participate in virtual and in-person events, conferences, and webinars to engage with the community and raise awareness of the platform's benefits.
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, community management, or a related field, preferably within EdTech, SaaS, or international education.
- Brand & Community Expertise: Proven ability to build and manage brand strategies and foster engaged communities, both online and offline.
- Content Creation: Strong storytelling and content development skills, with experience creating engaging written and multimedia content for diverse audiences.
- International School Knowledge: Familiarity with the international school market, including the unique challenges and needs of educators, administrators, and school leaders.
- Digital Marketing Skills: Experience managing social media platforms, community forums, and online engagement tools, and using HubSpot as well as analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track performance
- Event Management: Experience organizing and coordinating webinars, conferences, or other events to drive community engagement.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience of international educators and school administrators.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and customer experience teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and community engagement efforts.
