DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and highly-organized communications professional to join the International Stores Communications team, supporting operations across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions. This strategic new position sits within the International Stores Communications Hub team, as part of Amazon's Global Communications & Corporate Responsibility organization, reporting to the Shopping Events, Planning and Insights Communications Lead.
The individual will manage the global coordination of high-priority moments, with particular focus on Amazon's major shopping events, such as Prime Day. As part of end-to-end campaign management, they will collaborate closely with centralized partner and business teams to optimize processes and implement improvements that enhance communications team performance.
A key focus of this position will be developing and managing robust central administration processes that enable team scalability and maximize operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be instrumental in elevating standards across crucial areas including strategic planning, budgeting, goal-setting, campaign analysis, and reporting. As the team representative in global working groups, they will help define best practices and guide local teams in effectively amplifying our work both internally and externally throughout the year.
The ideal candidate brings demonstrated success in strategic planning and execution of major multichannel communications campaigns, along with strong project management capabilities. They should possess experience managing senior stakeholders across multiple regions, coupled with proven ability to identify and manage PR risks and crisis communications to protect brand reputation. Strong proficiency in communications measurement and evaluation across earned, paid, social, and influencer channels is essential. International team experience is strongly preferred, as the role requires providing strategic counsel on process coordination across a diverse global team.

Key job responsibilities
• Developing and executing global insight-led strategies and plans for key Amazon Stores programs, including flagship initiatives and priority campaigns
• Leading operational excellence by creating, analysing, and improving international processes and mechanisms that drive efficiency across our diverse global team
• Managing strategic relationships with cross-functional partners, including communications, marketing, and business teams to ensure aligned execution and resource optimization
• Overseeing comprehensive planning cycles, including annual goal setting, budget management, and operational framework development
• Establishing and maintaining standardized measurement systems to track, evaluate, and report program performance across all communications channels
• Representing team in global working groups to enhance team visibility, share best practices, and identify opportunities for process integration
• Orchestrating key team events and engagement opportunities, including monthly calls, leadership meetings, and off-site summits
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in professional communications or public relations
- Project management experience, ideally of working across multiple countries and managing multiple stakeholders, delivering coordinated campaigns
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of influencer relations and social media output and measurement
