About the role:

The Communications Manager is responsible for contributing to building brand awareness and engagement with Attivo clients and staff to drive brand bond, client satisfaction, loyalty, and referral, as part of a wider marketing strategy to drive organic growth.

As the role requires collaborative working as part of a busy team, the successful candidate will need to be based at our Cheltenham office a minimum of 2 days per week, with the option to work remotely the remaining days. About you:

You are an experienced Marketing Communications professional and may have worked in professional services industries previously, ideally within Financial Services. You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and are able to build strong professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You will be extremely organised and able to manage multi projects simultaneously, delivering on budget and within completed within agreed timescales. You are commercially minded, able to driver return on investment across internal and external communications and events.

You are a creative thinker, able to deliver innovative solutions and thrive in a busy, fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and build client engagement programmes digitally and offline to establish an Attivo brand relationship with clients.
  • Devise engagement and awareness tracking and measurement methods to assess success and performance
  • Develop and execute PR, media and sponsorship plans to maximise the exposure of the Attivo brand showcasing client case studies and encouraging client participation in videos and other multi-media platforms
  • Oversee the development and delivery of Attivo Life content platform and Attivo Life magazine collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and HOM
  • Lead on the deployment of a CRM system (Hubspot) to build client communication e-mail marketing journeys and automated delivery
  • Build further on the deployment of our CRM for delivering an internal communications programme with regular communications to staff.
  • Develop and deliver engaging content through in-house and/or outsourcing copywriting for external and internal communications.
  • Deliver an internal communications plan incorporating internal newsletter and other company communications.
  • Work with HR to develop an internal communication calendar and internal communications templates that support different internal communication needs.
  • Work with HOM and HR to help shape the employer brand and activities that will help bring that to life and engage our staff.
  • Plan, organise and deliver any internal and external events.
  • Support any new acquisition integration with client integration and on boarding, internal communications and ensuring the rebranding of the offices is successful.
  • Work with the Client Relationship team to ensure smooth client onboarding post enquiry
  • Manage overall brand adherence and quality of all communications output.
  • Oversee and manage the production of all client documentation to ensure quality documents fit for purpose and on brand working with our Graphic Designer.

Essential skills and experience

  • At least 5 years marketing communications experience in a service industry ideally Financial Services
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with professional copywriting ability
  • Experience in building multi-channel communications programmes digitally and though traditional channels like events and direct mail/post
  • Sophisticated email marketing experience using email marketing and CRM systems
  • Client journey mapping and build
  • Experience working collaboratively with sales and business development teams
  • Budget management
  • Line management experience of marketing executive level
  • Marketing agency and supplier management experience
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • Creative thinker able to come up with fresh and innovative ideas
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Results-driven with a motivation to see initiatives through to completion and report with MI

Desirable skills and experience

  • CIM or other professional marketing qualifications
  • Marketing related degree
  • Hubspot experience or certified or other CRM system management
  • PR & media relations

Salary and benefits

up to £50,000 depending on experience
