As the Document Control Manager, you will be part of our Technical Support Services who are responsible for project controls, programme assurance, accurate forecasting and reporting, adding value to CWA, driving improved project delivery output and productivity performance across the Caledonia Water Alliance programme. You will manage and coordinate the Document Control function including line management duties to document controllers (issue resolution, training, workload management)

Caledonia Water Alliance, formed by Morrison Water Services and AECOM, was named in 2021 as the preferred bidder to support the delivery of Scottish Water's water infrastructure element of its capital investment programme. The contract includes programme management, together with the design and construction of works associated with the water and wastewater network across the whole of Scotland. This includes new assets, renewals, modifications, maintenance and refurbishment of water networks and pumping stations.

You will manage shared mailboxes escalating actions as applicable and oversee the development of new Information Management guidance materials. The Document Control Manager will support our teams with their P-BEPs and MIDPs and set up new projects on EDMS Issuing documentation externally as the centre point through which all documentation must pass, as per client's governance procedures.

Part of the role will be processing client Project Orders and Handover Packs and delivering workshops, meetings and training session associated with the Document Management and Quality Assurance procedures. You will support the IMS Manager with the administrative side of our IMS Setting up and manage template forms, reports and dashboards (including provision of user guidance and support). You wil also manage all relevant registers to keep them up to date.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be an efficient manager with excellent organisational skills. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented and proficient in document control processes. For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is highly skilled in managing documentation streams and ensuring accurate delivery of project materials. Working with a team of dedicated professionals, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of document management. Your remit will be to oversee the Document Control function and ensure smooth operations.

As the Document Control Manager, you are pivotal in ensuring the success of project delivery. Your role is crucial in maintaining accurate documentation flow and quality assurance procedures. You won't have to compromise on quality or accuracy in this role.   • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to provide a high quality, professional service to the wider programme.
  • A clear focus on customer/stakeholder needs.
  • Advanced user capabilities in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
