Communication and Engagement Analyst

Description

The Business

Employee Experience (EX) is the sum of all the touchpoints and moments that matter between employees and their employers. It sits at the heart of delivering superior and sustainable performance and is key to our clients’ success. WTW is the leader in Employee Experience.

We have the unique ability to use insights to drive impact. This means we ground everything we do in a deep understanding of what people care about – what makes them tick, what’s inhibiting change, what really matters. And we use that to fuel their Employee Experience, shaping high-value, high-impact people solutions – and delivering them in a way that sparks behaviour change and drives business results.

Our people come from diverse backgrounds and bring a range of skills and capabilities – we’re insights masters, change catalysts, storytellers, culture shapers, organisation strategists, digital champions and more. Our colleagues know the power of bringing these capabilities and our offerings together to develop and execute high-impact solutions for our clients’ most complex challenges.

The Summary

As a Communications and Engagement Analyst within our Employee Experience team, you will be a key contributor to the development and execution of strategies and technology solutions that support Employee Experience changes and HR programmes (spanning rewards, pensions, benefits, organisation transformation, wellbeing, and culture). You will draw on your imagination, creativity, and exceptional writing skills to help clients communicate effectively with employees about a range of subjects and across a range of media – and support your own project teams in delivering high-quality and innovative work.

The Role

  • Partner with senior colleagues to design and deliver Communication & Engagement solutions that engage employees and pension scheme members, drive action, and instill behaviour change.
  • Work independently to draft communications, across mixed media channels, translating complex concepts into clear, compelling, innovative and engaging content.
  • Work with in-house designers, agencies and other creative partners to develop the “look and feel” of communications.
  • Support senior colleagues with the day-to-day project management of client and/or internal activities, acting as liaison with internal colleagues and external providers to ensure data and materials are transmitted accurately, deadlines are clear and met, meetings are scheduled, and communication is consistent, raising issues where appropriate with senior colleagues.
  • Take Employee Experience insights gathered through your own and others’ work and use these to deliver measurable results for clients.
  • Effectively present client deliverables at client meetings and help the project team build trusted advisor relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual capital, including new tools, solutions, and approaches around Employee Experience.
  • Identify opportunities to further develop technical knowledge and skills across a variety of industries and relevant subjects.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in communication (internal and/or external) is highly desired.
  • Agency or consulting experience (e.g. communications agencies or traditional HR consulting firms) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge in areas such as HR, benefits, rewards, pensions, organisation change, careers and branding is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of current communication and change management trends, marketing and technology trends, and an ability to apply that knowledge to client-focused solutions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.
  • Proven ability to proactively manage competing priorities and carry out well-defined assignments, according to established guidelines, with little to no supervision.
  • Experience working with in-house designers, agencies or other creative partners.
  • Experience working in teams to deliver objectives.
  • Proven ability to analyse, organise and interpret information; and draw conclusions in a logical, systematic way.
  • Undergraduate/postgraduate degree or relevant experience demonstrating a proven interest in communications, engagement and change management.
  • Availability to travel on an as-needed basis.
  • This role is London based.
  • This role requires attendance 2 days per week in the London office.
