We are looking for...

An enthusiastic and innovative Commissioning Micro Provision Manager to join our team and lead on our exciting Micro Enterprise provision. The successful candidate will support the development and growth of small-scale, community-based enterprises that provide care and support services. This role is crucial in fostering a diverse and sustainable care market that meets the needs of our local community.

About the Role

Enterprise Support: Provide advice, guidance, and practical support to individuals and groups looking to establish or grow micro-enterprises in the adult social care sector.

Capacity Building: Deliver training and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of micro-enterprise owners and potential entrepreneurs.

Networking and Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, voluntary organisations, and community groups, to support the development of micro-enterprises.

Market Development: Identify gaps in the local care market and work with micro-enterprises to develop services that meet these needs.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that micro-enterprises understand and comply with relevant regulations and standards, providing support with registration and quality assurance processes.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement systems to monitor the performance and impact of micro-enterprises, using data to inform continuous improvement.

Promotion and Awareness: Raise awareness of the benefits of micro-enterprises within the community and promote their services to potential users and stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

Qualifications: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in social care, community development, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in business development, community development, or a related field. Experience in the adult social care sector is highly desirable.

Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver training and support.

Knowledge: Understanding of the adult social care landscape, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.

Attributes: A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a commitment to supporting community-based solutions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
