Commercial Roaming Manager

Role Purpose
Engage with Roaming partners through VRS to deliver a world class roaming footprint and cost base, manage the operational in life activities for IOT roaming and ensure the information available is correct shared in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities are to work with, and through others, to optimise the Vodafone IOT commercial:
1. To provide the best global roaming solution support to our customers through our commercial offering maximising the ability to win business
2. Drive cost improvements on the roaming footprint negotiations and ensure the existing customer support infrastructure (>€70m p.a. cost) is commercially optimised through optimising roaming groups and via OTA campaigns to steering data traffic to the least cost networks.
3. Work with Vodafone roaming services on footprint expansion and the annual negotiation plan
4. Enable the effective management of the >10 PLMN's (SIM network steering), OTA (network steering) and >200 RSA's (customer network group lists) to ensure new versions are created and existing ones are modified in a robust and efficient way
5. Collate and create all roaming information used in customer bids, bid P&L documents, service open, multiple countries, costs, forward looking rates, network usage
What you'll do
• Managing and expand the IoT roaming footprint, new networks and new bearers working through the VRS organisation
• Manage on behalf of the business all customer roaming infrastructure including PLMNs and Roaming, creating and modifying including the change request form tools and processes
• Present in customer meetings information related to roaming and roaming expansion
• Provide and keep up to date all relevant network footprint information in the agreed locations
• Ensuring that the costs, risks, dependencies and other assumptions regarding Roaming changes are assessed and communicated.
• Produce yearly roaming traffic forecast used within Vodafone and with network operators globally
• Alignment of Roaming steering tools with the IoT commercial strategy
Who you are
• Experience across roaming and commercial functions in the telecommunications and/or IT sector
• Must be able to communicate effectively to senior management
• Demonstrate mature levels of commercial awareness and analytical thinking
• Ability to lead and influence others with conflicting interests
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within IOT, other group functions, and OpCos.
• Experience in Financial modelling

• Yearly bonus: 10%
