Commercial Revenue Manager
The Commercial Revenue Manager is accountable to help drive sustainable, profitable growth by optimising channel, customer and pack mix, price & promotion strategy and trade investment.
Key accountabilities
- Utilise market & consumer insights to support the development of price strategies including price increase.
- Develop, maintain and advise new approaches to gross margin delivery through pricing, promotional strategy, investment and Trade Terms.
- Support price and promotion governance and execution, maximizing ROI from all initiatives.
- Define and communicate trade investment guidelines, customer segmentation and investment principles.
- Track and monitor customer contracts / Trade Terms and course correct where necessary.
- Monitor & report on PRGM KPIs and ensure their delivery in coordination with Sales, Marketing & Finance.
- Support commercial capability development and continuous improvement across key functions.
- Implement an effective contact strategy that delivers all of the above.
Measures of success
- Deliver against planned outcomes on volume, revenue and margin
- Deliver improved ROI on investment
- Enhance capability across Sales, Marketing and Finance on the commercial levers for growth
- Improve NPR/HL
- Improve in mix - customer, brand, pack, SKU
- Deliver planned price / rate increase level
Experience required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG company in Revenue Management roles or positions requiring high analytical skills.
- Evidence of ability to convert research and insight into tangible business value for both marketing, sales and customer marketing partners.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of channel, customer and other commercial issues.
- Evidence of ability to build collaborative partnerships and influence key stakeholders to drive commercial impact.
- Experience of the drinks or beer industry would be advantageous but is not required.
- English language skills required: other languages advantageous.
- Education to degree level or equivalent is desirable.
