Why this job matters

The Base Enrichment and Household Integration chapters are the home for our Customer Journey squads, which have a very significant commercial impact on the Consumer business.

They are accountable for delivering revenue, churn, volume, value and NPS outcomes for both EE and BT brands, across all products - taking a household view across the main customer journeys (including upgrade, retain, upsell, cross sell and deep sell).

Our Customer Base Marketing Managers will be the key support to the Senior Product Owner for these squads, deputising ownership where necessary, defining personalised customer journeys, experiences and campaigns that will help us to extend and deepen our existing customer relationships and developing world class analysis, commercial opportunity sizing, business cases and modelling with a test and learn mindset.

What you'll be doing

  • Support setting the targeting, personalisation and offer strategy & vision for a customer base journey e.g. cross-sell and convergence, with a strong focus on data-driven outcomes
  • Set and own targets for commercial KPIs such as sales conversion for specific customer segments, traffic delivered from marketing initiatives and service revenue from base campaigns
  • Influence & shape requirements for new base marketing activity
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify areas of optimisation in customer base marketing and journeys
  • Define requirements for end to end base journeys with inbound and outbound capability
  • Refine and prioritise backlog items using commercial and strategic criteria, taking inputs from key stakeholders where necessary
  • Build business cases for new marketing initiatives and forecast outcomes using insight and modelling
  • Recommend and drive trials to optimise performance/KPIs, ensuring test and learn v control
  • Communicate plans, opportunities, forecasted and actual commercial outcomes, learnings and insights to the wider business via presentations and written updates
