We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager, which is a pivotal role within our organisation.
This super charged opportunity which will help deliver best-in-class management of key partners &/or service providers across a range of product lines, specifically Money (lending, saving and investing), whilst negotiating the best commercial terms for CTM for the portfolio of partners allocated to you. The post-holder will manage their own multiple partner relationships and will need to remain connected with the broader market to spot trends and opportunities.

This role is working within the commercial division of Compare the Market, it is fast paced, is is exciting and you've got to expect and adapt to change
Some of the great things you'll be involved in:
• Work closely with the Experience Leads in the delivery of a dynamic product strategy and work effectively and collaboratively as part of Grow, and within the wider matrix, at pace and with ambition

Clear and concise communicator, able to see the bigger picture and how their work contributes to it

Working closely with internal & external stakeholders to identify & deliver new/improved propositions, and agree priorities, focus areas and opportunities for development

Have a "customer first" mentality, able to see where improvements can be made for the benefit of customers and understand how customers interact with products

Able to self-manage, ensuring items are escalated where necessary
•
Resilient, with a positive outlook and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
•
Excellent influencing & negotiation skills, delivering optimal commercial terms for new/existing partners
•
Quick to build lasting relationships, maintaining effective ongoing working partnerships
•
Monitor partners performance, agreeing and delivering robust recovery plans where necessary
•
Be comfortable delivering difficult messages where necessary
•
Help to identify and manage business unit risks and ensure appropriate controls and conduct are in place to protect the business, our partners and customers
• Acting as the face of CtM to our partners and in the industry
• Ownership of a portfolio of lending partners focusing on their trading performance, marketing support, product and journey optimisations

You'll ideally have:
• Experience of working within Financial Services marketplace, this would be a huge bonus and, relevant propositions
• Strong commercial acumen, able to identify opportunities and take action to deliver.
• Experience of negotiating strong commercial outcomes
• Proven third party partnership/supplier management, to contractual terms, including SLA achievement
• Enjoys managing multiple complex tasks
• Understanding of good third party partner/supplier governance
• Thinks and acts with ambition and thrives in fast paced digital environment
