The Role:
Trip.com is seeking a Commercial Manager to nourish and expand our existing partnerships within the French and Benelux rail markets. This role will focus on coordinating marketing campaigns and optimizing operational strategies to drive growth and enhance customer engagement in these regions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns, maximize partnership potential, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
In this Role, you'll be responsible:
- Partnership Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key rail operators across France and the Benelux region, focusing on expanding collaborative initiatives and maximizing mutual benefits.
- Campaign Execution: Coordinate and support the execution of marketing campaigns tailored to the French and Benelux markets, collaborating with internal teams to meet performance targets and build brand presence.
- Operations Optimization: Oversee operational activities related to rail ticketing, from managing sales channels to ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey.
- Sales Channel Monitoring: Regularly monitor and analyze performance across all sales channels, leveraging data-driven insights to improve ticket sales and optimize conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and other internal teams to align on strategies, ensuring that all campaigns and operations support Trip.com's objectives in the region.
- Effective Communication: Maintain consistent communication with the company HQ team in Shanghai, sharing market insights, campaign results, and operational updates to ensure alignment with global strategies.
What you'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working within a global company is a plus
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English, with an ability to manage and foster long-term partnerships
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to optimizing performance based on data insights
- 3+ years of experience in commercial operations or a similar role, ideally within the travel or transportation sector
