What you'll be doing
In this pivotal role, you will lead the optimisation of our dispensing product portfolio, ensuring we deliver optimal value and sustainability. You will collaborate with a passionate team, reporting to the Head of Ethical Commercial Development, and have the opportunity to shape the future of our healthcare offerings.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the optimisation of the dispensing product portfolio across approximately 6,000 dm+d drug families and c.25,500 product lines, ensuring optimal value and long-term sustainability.
- Own and develop the Drug Family Optimisation (DFO) approach outside of Brand Deal activity, translating insight into clear commercial recommendations and decisions.
- Lead preference setting decisions in line with DFO analysis, balancing margin opportunity, supply resilience and operational practicality.
- Identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities within generics, parallel imports and the wider medicines market to inform medium- and long-term planning.
- Contribute to cross-functional commercial optimisation projects and future growth initiatives.
- Lead the ongoing development, integrity and effective use of the DFO database and associated insight tools.

- Proven experience in commercial management within the healthcare sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A passion for driving progress and making a meaningful impact.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience with product portfolio management.
- Knowledge of the generics and parallel imports market.
- Familiarity with database management and insight tools.
